ADMINISTRATION OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

 

The Administration of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan is established to ensure the activity of the Constitutional Court.

The main objective of the administration is organizational, technical, analytical, reference, financial and economic support of the Constitutional Court.

To perform the tasks entrusted apparatus performs the following functions:

organizational and technical support of proceedings of the Constitutional Court, as well as official meetings and the other events held by the Constitutional Court;

assist judges in preparing cases and other matters for consideration in court sessions and official meetings;

organizational support of examination of appeals to the Constitutional Court, the preparation of replies, opinions, analysis, reference and other materials on the appeals;

participation in the preparation of draft laws and proposals on issues related to the legislative initiative of the Constitutional Court and the preparation necessary documents for this;

facilitating distribution and publication of decisions of the Constitutional Court, as well as preparing issue of “Bulletin of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan”;

systematic registration and creation of a database of Constitutional Court decisions;

research and generalization of state organs activities of implementation of the Constitutional Court decisions, preparation for the Constitutional Court information on the implementation of those decisions;

systematic registration and analysis of legislation, conducting analytical studies;

ensuring the implementation of the Constitutional Court powers in the field of human resources management, organization of professional training of the staff;

organization, management and improvement of the documentary maintenance system of the Constitutional Court on the basis of application of modern information technologies on preparation and processing of documents;

guidance and monitoring on compliance with the established procedure for document management and record keeping;

archive documents of the Constitutional Court, the implementation of storage and use of documents in the archive fund of the Constitutional Court and the preparation for their transfer to the state archives in the manner prescribed by law;

ensure the smooth functioning of information systems and the introduction of new information technologies;

ensure the creation, maintenance and improvement of electronic information resources of the Constitutional Court;

organization of interaction of the Constitutional Court with media, providing to the media objective information on the activities of the Constitutional Court;

organization of financial activities of the Constitutional Court;

organization of measures to ensure provision the Constitutional Court with material and technical resources;

organization of the Constitutional Court’s relations with constitutional review bodies of foreign countries and international organizations, their representative offices in the Republic of Uzbekistan;

study and generalizing the experience of constitutional review bodies of foreign countries;

performs other functions in accordance with law, decisions of the Constitutional Court, orders of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court.

General management of the apparatus shall be carried out by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court and a direct current - by the Head of the Secretariat.
